Summary: This healthcare facility is made up of several separate buildings: Main Building, Rehabilitation Center, and Long Term Care Center. Allied Services was concerned with environmental temperatures as well as reduction in utility costs. Because this facility provides treatment to many elderly individuals, proper temperatures and records of those temperatures are essential. The best compliment we have received from this customer is the fact that their weekly service calls to maintenance were reduced by 90% since the installation of our direct digital controls. Because this facility is spread out like a campus, the reduction in service calls has eliminated many wasted man-hours and false alarms. From one central location they can now monitor and control their entire facility.

In addition to the HVAC controls PQ has installed door card access and gate security at this facility. Types of equipment controlled include central boiler/chiller plant with multi-zone air handlers. All controls installed and applications are direct digital control.

Summary: This total electric three-level upscale mall is located in the heart of New Jersey. The common area space is supplied by 16 rooftop units, with the tenants areas having 27 rooftop units supplying VAV boxes. All indoor and outdoor lighting is also controlled. The Hahn Company of San Diego, California looked very carefully for an organization that could help them better manage their property, for they had experienced little luck with other companies in the past in automating their malls.

After numerous reviews, PQ was chosen to pilot this mall with facility management. We achieved our projected savings target after a relatively short period of time and provided them with a very powerful management tool. We have since completed numerous additions to their system.

SUMMARY: This seven-story building located in center city Philadelphia has the majority of its mechanical equipment located in the basement: city steam supply valves, chillers and domestic hot water with an air handler on each floor.

A non-profit organization, they were interested in eliminating waste in their building operations overhead. PQ achieved our projected two-year return on investment and have remained on our savings target. We work closely with Andy Galezniak, their Head Maintenance Manager, to ensure the continued savings with our system. With our system, Andy can manage his mechanical system from either his office or from his home.

Summary: This total electric school had a non-functioning energy management system (EMS) prior to our installation. The primary reason their prior EMS did not function properly was simple: their pneumatic controls were filled with oil and would not work. We not only replaced their EMS, but we also replaced their entire pneumatics system with total direct digital control.

Since installation of the PQ Facility Automation System their savings have been stronger than projected each month, and their in house maintenance staff is thrilled with their PQ management tool which provides quick and easy access to each piece of equipment.
